2021 Energy Symposium

General Motors is excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual Energy Symposium. This year, we invite everyone to participate in this symposium (GM, suppliers, partners, and the public), so please do share with your suppliers, within your networks. We invite you to share this landing page to all who are curious about renewable energy and carbon neutrality. Everyone who signs up will receive an invite for Day 1 (Nov. 3), however Day 2 (Nov. 4) will be reserved for GM and Tier 1 suppliers only.

As the urgency for climate action continues to increase, we want to provide insight on how renewable energy procurement is a sound business decision. This year we have speakers from the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, CDP, DTE, EcoVadis, GM and much more! You will have the opportunity to hear from GM leadership, including our CSO Kristen Siemen and VP of Global Purchasing and Supply Chain Shilpan Amin. You will also hear from a variety of suppliers who are each in different points of their renewable energy journey discuss their progress along with discussions regarding resources and support available to kickoff and start one's path towards 100% Renewable Energy. Additionally, we will discuss current trends from investors and financial institutions. With commitment from all, we will make strides toward our vision for a world with zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion.
